The repair group continues to meet weekly to monitor our progress in recovering from Sandy. Our latest report is attached. We are on track for a full recovery. Design and engineering work is nearing completion. We will report thoroughly at the March membership meeting and continue to post updates of the plan to the Club website so that members can understand how and when the work will be accomplished.Sandy Recovery Plan Members have been unreservedly supportive in the recovery of the Club – clearing debris, redecking the pier, allocating Club funds to the repairs, digging into their pockets to replenish the contingency reserve, and planning and organizing to restore full operations. Our insurance will provide for the remaining considerable repair to the Clubhouse. The village of Nyack has waived the building permit fees to support our recovery. We will be contracting the replacement of electrical service to the pier. But we need to staff and direct the remaining repairs. Please continue your generous support when we ask for your labor and , perhaps, your leadership to complete this work.

September 15, 2012 Here are further details on the Club Members' Art Show sponsored by the Ensign Fleet to be held at the club on Saturday September 15, 2012 from 10 AM until 4 PM. This event is open to club members and their crew guests. Artworks such as paintings, photography, or sculpture are welcome. Member and guest artists are invited to join with others for a BYO picnic and discussion of their works about noon time. Due to our limited display area, at this time we are limiting each entrant to showing two items.
