September 15, 2012 Here are further details on the Club Members' Art Show sponsored by the Ensign Fleet to be held at the club on Saturday September 15, 2012 from 10 AM until 4 PM. This event is open to club members and their crew guests. Artworks such as paintings, photography, or sculpture are welcome. Member and guest artists are invited to join with others for a BYO picnic and discussion of their works about noon time. Due to our limited display area, at this time we are limiting each entrant to showing two items. If you intend to participate or have any questions, please contact Paul Shein (845) 358- 6826 or Bob Shoemaker (201) 444-2196 as soon as possible. We would like to get a headcount of entrants in advance. Here is how it will work:

1. Entrants should come to the club on Saturday morning about 9:30 and set up their display. We encourage painters and photographers to bring something like an easel that can be used to display their items. Several long tables will be provided.
2. Be sure to clearly show your name on the front of your artworks.
3. No items may be hung on any part of the NBC clubhouse.
4. Each person displaying their artwork is responsible for the security of their items. Although we will monitor the show, neither the club nor sponsors can be responsible for any loss or damage to their artwork.
5. This will not be a judged competition. However, works may be priced and sold at this event, although, the club will not be involved in any such transactions. A simple entry form and modest contribution will be requested.
6. By 4 PM, each entrant should retrieve their artwork and display materials.
