The Cruising Fleet is the biggest fleet in the Club with more than 100 members. Boats in the Fleet range from 20 to 45 feet. With such a large membership, activities abound every week from May through October. Events fall into three major categories: organized cruises, social gatherings at the Club, and racing. Many members of the Cruising Fleet combine weekly active racing with social sailing and cruising to distant locations. Cruisers can race at Nyack on Wednesday evenings, Sunday afternoons, or at weekend regattas throughout the year at neighboring yacht clubs sponsored by the Hudson River Yacht Racing Association.
